How it works

Lock one NFL team each week from the iMessage app or the web. They only have to win — the point spread sets how many points you score, it is not a condition. Underdogs are worth more, favorites less, and taking the other side of a friend’s game puts an extra point on the line for whoever’s team wins. Playoff rounds score extra, the Super Bowl most of all, and the most points at the end of the season wins.

Common fixes

New phone or signed out? Enter your recovery code (or your original enrollment code) on the first screen — your account and history come back.
Joining a league? Ask any member to text you the league’s join code, then enter it with the name you want on the board. Starting one instead? Create it at spread.dog and text the code it gives you to everyone else.
Wrong name, or want out? Open the leagues sheet, tap the ⋯ beside a league: your name there can be changed any time, and you can leave. A league’s owner can also remove someone, and the last person in a league deletes it rather than leaving it.
Wrong or missing line? Spreads refresh automatically from DraftKings via a third-party odds service; a missing line falls back to the last good one, and a game with no line at all is voided rather than mis-scored.

Reports

Report a name or photo from any player’s profile inside the app. Reports are acted on within 24 hours.
